James graduated from the University of Washington in 1995, cum laude, and Gonzaga Law School in 1998, magna cum laude, and Thomas More Scholar. He was a partner at the Bell & Ingram and Shipman Uberti law firms before joining PGLG in 2016. James is also the President of Pacific Mediation, and provides family law mediation services for over a hundred cases each year. His litigation focus is primarily on high asset cases. James is also a fellow of the nationally recognized American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
